The Diwakar Bhartiya Sports Foundation is a unique sports development organization dedicated to promoting sports and preserving the memory of the legendary brothers, Shri.Man Mohan Diwakar and Shri.Brij Mohan Diwakar. This foundation is established to honor their legacy which have inspired us to continue their mission of improving education of sports for Indian youth.

We strive to empower and inspire the next generation of athletes to achieve their full potential, through sports and activities.

We are driven by the belief that sports have the power to transform lives, and by the legacy of the Diwakar brothers, who dedicated their lives to making a difference in the lives of others. Our mission is to provide opportunities for everyone to get involved in sports, regardless of age or background.

About Sh.Man Mohan Diwakar

This section of our website is dedicated to recognizing & celebrating the life and work of Late Shri.Man Mohan Diwakar. During his lifetime, he was a passionate advocate for the development of education in India. He was particularly passionate about making education accessible for everyone, and he fought hard for the rights of teachers. Late Shri.Man Mohan Diwakar was also a vocal advocate of pay scales for teachers in India, and he even fought for the right of teachers and the then Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi accepted it after the decision of court, to make sure teachers were given fair wages. His commitment to education development has inspired many, and his legacy lives on in the work of our organization.

LATE.Sh.M.M Diwakar after winning the pay scale for Teachers from Shmt.Indra Gandhi ji then Prime Minister of INDIA under govt pay commission and revolutionizing the field of teaching by getting teachers the deserved pay scales they are receiving till today.

There's no count for the contribution Late.Sh.M.M Diwakar ji had made for the development in the field of teaching. No matter if they were teachers or students from schools or colleges his contribution was prime reason and responsible in creation of strong education system/society that we have today. In Education he was famous for his triple masters degree at the time #1 Double MASTERS in English(M.a.English) and #2 MASTERS in LAW(L.L.M). He devoted his entire life being a socialist and stood always in front when it came for the welfare of education system & society and always fought for right of teachers and students.

His contribution can't be compared with anyone till date. He was responsible for foundation of many schools and colleges in Delhi and India. His name represents an entire era for development of Indian Education system.

Shri.Man Mohan Diwakar ji was a legendary figure in the field of education development in India. He was a super pole Walter, a true socialist, freedom fighter and revolutionist who dedicated his life to the cause of providing quality education and sports development to underprivileged society. He was widely known as the face for teachers of India and worked tirelessly to improve the conditions of primary and secondary schools across the country. He was a great believer in the power of education to bring about social transformation and worked to bring about better education infrastructure and facilities for children. His legacy continues to this day, inspiring countless teachers and students to pursue their dreams.

Shri.Man Mohan Diwakar was a pioneer for development of education system in India. He was the president of the Government and Aided School's Teachers Association in the late 1970s and early 1980s. During his tenure, he strived to improve the quality of education facilities in the government-run schools and to promote sports as an integral part of the school curriculum. He was a driving force behind the establishment of many education facilities like schools, colleges and universities at various districts, cities & states of India. He was also a major proponent of the use of education & sports as a tool to promote social harmony and unity among children of different backgrounds. His legacy lives on in the form of the numerous education development initiatives he spearheaded during his lifetime.

The most proud thing about this foundation is-

The history created by Sh.B.M.Diwakar marks a Global Slam Dunk from India to entire world of sports.

Shri.Brij Mohan Diwakar is a forgotten name in the history of Indian sports .

And Diwakar Bhartiya Sports Foundation proudly honor the legacy of Shri. Brij Mohan Diwakar, the forgotten coach of the Indian Basketball team which qualified and performed outstanding at the 1980s Moscow Olympics. Our foundation is dedicated to helping young athletes to develop their skills and reach their goals. Our Founder/Chairman Sh.Prabhat Sharma told us this story which he got to know from his grandfather Sh.B.M.Diwakar.When during the event of Moscow olympics how india performed outstanding amongst best teams of the world. At that time the team gave hard sweats to countries like Australia. Where in first half Indian team led the game by 4 points 41-37. Then Captain Paramjit Singh led out the team, a roaster which included 6'5" superstar Ajmer Singh & talented forward Shyam Radhey, Hanuman Rathore, Jorawar singh & more legends of indian basket ball sport forgotten in history.

This all happened 43 years back and still remains the only olympic basketball event where India performed.

He was known to be mentor of many basketball athletes who represented India at various international stages.

Even now if you search you will find most of the professional basket ball coaches had been guided by Sh.B.M Diwakar as their coach or mentor.

To continue the legacy of Diwakars and having maternal bloodline our Co-Founder & Chairmen Sh.Prabhat Sharma along with our team of other Co-founders Shmt.Garima Sharma, Sh.Rahul Chandrashekhar Bhatt & Ms.Vileena Deo took the initiative of creating this Foundation which solely aims to develop sports as a culture in India and be the one of a kind platform that will work on developing & taking sports to every part of India. That will specifically work on finding talents from the most remote rural & village parts of India to most underdeveloped urban below poverty zones all around the country from where we might just find another Olympic podium contender for the country. And not just that, in this initiative we will also be focusing on creating a new kind of employment environment for individuals struggling in the field of sports as an athlete, Coach/Trainer or those talented individuals who seek career in the field of sports as an professional athlete, Coach or trainer.

Meet our Founder director & Chairperson Sh.Prabhat Sharma

A person full of enthusiasm, kindness, a futuristic visionary always in positive approach towards any kind of situation, expert in finding unique solutions for impossible tasks, an adventurous person passionate for sports and always full of energy to work.

That's just one side of his personality out of many.

Yes, he is a person many find hard to believe. His approach towards life had always been to search for only positivity whether its personal or professional.

This foundation itself is one of his long desired dream as he wanted to revive the legacy of his legendary mentors missing and forgotten in history.

Late Sh.M.M.Diwakar & ShB.M.Diwakar had been the prime source of all the accomplishments reached by Sh.Prabhat Sharma.

If we elaborate he is also a professional athlete himself having experience multiple types of sports. Personally his favourite roller skating since he always likes to exploring unique tasks which are always found difficult by others. He is also a mentor for many professional athletes and sports person who have achieved unmatched glories in their field at State, National , International and even Olympic stage. He also served as the coach for national team of roller skating at Special Olympics Summer Games 2019 held in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and story doesn't end here, in the same special olympic event his team and trained athletes secured a total of 49 medals for the country. Highest number of medals achieved by any team in particular sport around the globe. His students have taken countless podiums in multiple stages. But that's not it achievements possessed by Sh.Prabhat Sharma are still on the go. Yes he still take part in professional speed skating championships and achieved 7 podiums in National speed skating championships of recent past 4 years. And the list is long which starts with achievements from year 1999 till date.

The whole objective of this foundation is born from his own experience. As things were never easy route for him , not just on professional but on personal ground also. As he lost his father at a very early age of 5, he was left with nothing but rejections and refusals from the society. Those rejections and refusals changed the outlook of his approach towards life. Only those two mentors saw that uniqueness and motivated him in to reach the milestone where he stands today.

Now his focus is to change this approach by means of social inclusion and providing equal opportunity for those struggling to get one.
